Walkup Music saves the following locally on your iPhone so your lineup is there the next time you open it:
This information is never sent to the developer or to anyone else. It is not backed up to any server operated by the developer. Deleting the app removes all of it from your device.
If you choose to pick a song from Apple Music, the app asks your permission to read your music library. It uses that access only to show you your songs and playlists so you can select one, and to play the song you selected through Apple's own music player.
The app does not copy, upload, or transmit your Apple Music library or listening history. Playing Apple Music content involves Apple's services, and Apple's handling of that is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy, not by this one. Apple Music playback requires an active Apple Music subscription.
When you import an audio file, iOS shows you a file picker and the app receives only the single file you select. It has no access to anything else on your device or in your cloud storage. The selected file is copied into the app's own storage so it remains available later, and is removed when you delete the app.
The app can share a team with another coach in three ways: a plain-text summary or a team file, both handed to the standard iOS share sheet, or a QR code shown on your screen for another phone to scan. You choose whether to share and with whom. A team file or QR code contains the team's name and colours, and each player's name, number, song name and timing. It goes directly from your device to the person you share it with. The developer never receives it, and nothing is uploaded.
Walkup Music is designed for coaches and parents to use, not children. Because it is often used with youth teams, the names and jersey numbers you enter may belong to minors. That information is stored only on your own device, is never transmitted anywhere, and is never seen by the developer. You remain in control of it, and can remove it at any time by deleting a player, clearing a lineup, or deleting the app.
There are none. The app contains no analytics SDK, no advertising, no crash reporting service, and no social media integration. It does not create an account or profile for you, and it has no login.
If the app ever begins handling information differently, this page will be updated and the date at the top will change.
